The goal of the PDL course is to introduce the foundations of planning and control in distribution and logistics operations. The basics and principles of logistics management, warehousing, transportation, fulfillment, supply chain management (SCM), and the principles, functions, and application of distribution requirements planning (DRP) are studied and explored. Through discussion and problem solving exercises, participants will learn about the roles of logistics and supply chain management and participate in distribution priority and capacity planning.
